  Millions of people use Microsoft Windows. The Surface has front & rear facing cameras with ability to be used as a tablet. Other brands do as well. Businesses from medical, construction, government, retail, consulting, etc. all use these regularly and all have forms and notes that need to be transcribed, stored, archived and searchable.
  
  It doesn't make sense not to have an app for Windows.

  I still want a native app, but wanted to add (for those in this thread) that you can run android apps natively on Windows 11, and Windows 10 with some Samsung phones.

  Yes - this is what I just came onto the site to figure out if I could do!! My work profile won't let me link to my work one note - thus the productivity gains are completely diminished. If I could just use the app on my laptop to scan it would be perfect!!

  Yes please!!! I work solely on my Windows 10 laptop. I rather use it then my phone for my college classes and work, even though they have an app for online class/homework. Please consider this as well as Microsoft365
