Athletics Coaching Playbook - Field diagrams
A book a coach can use to draw up plays. Each page is divided into four squares. In the middle of each square is an offensive line diagram O O <> O O Similar to the attached diagram. Football field would not be needed.
Could also be made for soccer, basketball, hockey, etc.

jaime burkitti was going to suggest this but found this and thought i would keep it 1 place.

I am a football coach and printing templates on paper are difficult to change once written on.
I would love to see a flip version with:
full pitches pages vertical, half pitches positioned horizontal on a full page, 2 half pitches postioned horizontal but on a vertical page, 4 half pitches quartered horizontal for training set pieces would be great too.
I suggest flip as the spirals in the middle are difficult to write on the left for RH people, and the right for LH's.
A4 probably better to allow the players to see it clearly.
most managers plan sessions around the 4 corners module so copying a template with this incorporated would be great too.
Maybe a stencil could be designed too with key shapes, numbers and icons incorporated for use that comes with each book?
Would love to hear your thoughts. -

ricardo w rietveld MergedTrainers use and reuse their Tactic.
To communicate with the players they use a Tactics board. -

Flaco1It could have multiple sports in the set. e.g. separate basketball half and full court pages, baseball field view and batting order pages, soccer full pitch and offensive/defensive half only. Same for football and hockey (full field and tight shot) Also a position/line up page for each sport which could be shown to the players at pregame or time outs. Market as a 3 in one: scouting tool, practice/game planning tool and for in game use.

Jeff ThompsonSoccer pitch template. Full-field and half field. Four pages each
2
Pages for practice plans. eight to twelve pages
Pages for each player on team to take notes on. sixteen pages. Could do two templates per page and cut page count in half.
Template for taking game day notes on opposing teams (tournaments or individual games). eight pages.
Game day roster pages
Game day notes for individual matches (take aways, half-time, end-game couches talk notes, future practice notes)
This could be two books:
- Practices book. (Soccer pitch templates, practice plan pages, pages for notes on each player on team)
- Tournament book (Soccer pitch templates, game day roster pages, pages on opposing team, pages for notes on each game) -
